Base & Mid Layers

Warmth starts against your skin. Our proprietary moisture-wicking thermal layers pull sweat away from your body, preventing the cold, clammy feeling that ruins a day on the ice.

We offer three weights of base layers depending on your activity level and the outside temperature. All feature anti-odor treatments and four-way stretch fabrics.

Lightweight (Active)

Best for hole-hopping and mild winter days.

Midweight (Standard)

The perfect all-around layer for typical ice fishing trips.

Heavyweight (Extreme)

Maximum thermal retention for sitting still in extreme cold.

Winter Gear Tips

1. Never Wear Cotton

Cotton absorbs sweat and holds it against your skin, chilling you rapidly. Always start with a synthetic or merino wool base layer.

2. Manage Your Sweat

If you are walking a long distance out on the ice or drilling many holes, open your jacket vents or shed a layer. Sweating is the enemy of warmth.

3. Protect the Extremities

A massive amount of heat is lost through your head and neck. A high-quality balaclava combined with a warm hat is non-negotiable on cold, windy days.
